Elite Performance Lab
Draft — version draft-2026-10. This document is subject to legal review before publication.
Elite Performance Lab is committed to the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of every child. We have zero tolerance for child abuse and treat all concerns seriously.
All coaches and staff working with children hold a current South Australian Working with Children Check (DHS screening) and are briefed on this policy before the programme.
Coaches follow a code of conduct: sessions are held in open, visible areas; staff avoid one-on-one situations out of sight of others; physical contact is limited to what is necessary for coaching or first aid; and staff do not contact players privately on social media or messaging apps.
Players are released only to their parent/guardian or an authorised adult nominated by them.
Images are taken only by authorised photographers and used only in line with each family's consent selections. Players are never identified by full name in public posts without permission.
Medical information is restricted to authorised staff. First aid is available at every session and emergency contacts are accessible to authorised staff on site.
Any concern can be raised with the Head Coach or by contacting ElitePerformanceDevelopmentLab@gmail.com / 0499 354 667. If a child is in immediate danger, call 000. Concerns regarding abuse can also be reported to the Child Abuse Report Line on 13 14 78.
